This paper will be 2-3 pages, double-spaced with normal 1-inch margins and font size ,12. The double-spacing must be consistent throughout the entire paper, including the spacing BETWEEN paragraphs. (That is, there should be only ONE blank line between paragraphs.) You may include a SHORT introduction (2-4 sentences) and a SHORT (same standard) closing -- the remainder of the paper should be on the content of the paper. (If you go beyond the minimum 2-3 pages, you may expand the introduction and closing slightly.) If you wish, you may do the paper in a question-and-answer format, AS LONG AS THE ANSWER IS SUBSTANTIALLY LONGER THAN THE QUESTION. Here is a sample (from a submission for another class): Q. How do you avoid stereotyping? A. As a restaurant manager, it is my responsibility to treat every employee or guest of the hotel with the utmost respect. Stereotyping is a very stupid thing to do at work or in your personal life because you limit your experiences and hold yourself back due to your own ignorance. I will admit that I do make first impressions of people, but I think that is just human nature. It's not something you think about, it's just something that happens. I will vow to you that I do make a conscious effort not to stereotype anybody, and I feel that I do a good job at treating everyone equally. A manager who stereotypes people will never hold down a good job for any length of time.
