(SLO3, SLO 5, Personal Responsibility) A minimum of 2-3 scholarly or reputable research sources.* Sources should be drawn primarily from the library catalog and databases. 2 sources must be from a database and 1 from a reputable website that has to be approved by your instructor. You may use more than 3 sources, just be careful not to overdo your source material (SLO 2, SLO 4, Critical Thinking) If reputable websites are permitted, they must be approved by the professor. Well-developed counterargument(s) with rebuttal(s)* addressing alternate viewpoint(s) to strengthen the student’s position. Accurate in-text citations and a complete Works Cited or appropriate reference page, formatted according to the most recent edition of the assigned style. (SLO 2) Adhere to either MLA or APA formatting, but not both! Submit assignment in a MS Word Document. For the essay, you should use MLA or APA, not both formats. Use in-text citations from your sources. You also need to have an argument. Minimum of 3 scholarly sources, both primary and secondary (2 must be from a DATABASE,the other 2 can be REPUTABLE SOURCES. If reputable websites are permitted, they must be approved by the instructor.
