InstructionIn a maximum of four double-spaced pages, you will consider your personal perspectives on education by briefly sharing your background and how your particular educational experiences have impacted you both positively and negatively. This paper should focus on your experiences prior to attending CU Boulder. As part of your background, include anything about your identity, family, geography and/or any other circumstances that may have impacted your educational experiences. Identity includes, but is not limited to, race, socioeconomic status, religion, gender, gender identity, and sexuality. Potential aspects of your education you might focus on are: curriculum, your relationship with teachers, testing, an after school club or sport, extra-curricular activities, class sizes, or the makeup of your school population. Your paper should provide a brief personal background, a brief description of all educational institution(s) attended, a thorough description of at least one educational institution you attended, and a reflection on how your educational experiences have impacted your life and/or interacted with you identities. I, your instructor, am the only person who will read this paper. Please only include those identities and personal background experiences that you are comfortable sharing with me.
