Step 1: Read the following questions and use what you have learned about this lesson's objective to prepare your responses. What type of organizational culture would you want to work in? What would be the critical factors used to implement and maintain that organizational structure? What effect would it have on your health and well-being? Include the structure and design of the ideal organization in your response. You are a manager working in the organizational culture/structure you just described. You are experiencing conflict among some of the employees on your labor-union team. What factors do you need to know regarding elements of the conflict? When would mediation be necessary to help reach an agreement between these employees? Why would mediation be preferable to arbitration?
