Review carefully the written and videotaped statements made by former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and US National Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski and reported in the two PowerPoint slides entitled: "Watch this video clip" and "We Created Al Qaeda to Fight the Soviets in Afghanistan." Based on these statements, write a concise paragraph (100-150 words) in which (1) you state the main points made in these statements, (2) you name the three leading countries involved in recruiting, funding, training, and arming the Mujahidin ('Muslim' fighters) in Afghanistan in the 1980s, and (3) you explain briefly the intended meaning of the two phrases "brilliant idea" and "some stirred-up Moslems" used by former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and US National Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski, respectively.
