Stringer (2007) presents numerous ways to formulate plans that address issues or opportunities unearthed by the research. Equally importantly, he stresses the importance of a variety of quality checks to insure the needed conditions are present before setting out to implement a plan. He also emphasizes the important role of the Action Research Facilitator and Inquiry team in making implementation successful. He describes the importance of providing on-going relationships with those taking the action steps and providing technical support when unanticipated difficulties are encountered. Assume that you are leading a large, organization-wide action research project to improve the organization. Apply and cite relevant information from our textbook within your response. 1.Identify areas in your organization that you could you implement all or most of Stringers quality checks for effective planning. 2.Examine the various conditions in those areas that will make this possible. 3.Explain what this says about starting early to create conditions for effective joint action planning. 4.Identify obstacles that would be likely to arise in your organization that would prevent the provision of on-going support during implementation. 5.Suggest what could be done (and when) to prevent or minimize conditions that could block on-going support.
