i need someone to do my homework, Instructions The Civic Engagement Project has two parts. Part I is a concert review (One page) and Part II are the observations of your invited guest and yourself (Two pages). This project is three pages long. You will upload this Civic Engagement Project to both D2L and LiveText in one document file. (650-900 words for this project which is about three pages long.) Cut and Paste the report into one .doc file. (NO .wps or .pages) I can not open these files, save as a .txt if you need in your word processing software. The Civic Engagement Project is due on the Day Of The Final, I will not except this project after this date. Part I (One Page): This is what you will be graded on your Concert Review: You need to reflect your personal opinion of the music that was played, your observations, and your reaction to the concert. Discuss your overall performance experience. If you have anything to say about a particular piece, do so; otherwise do not feel obligated to talk about every piece on the program. Musical accuracy: Your description and evaluation of the concert must be clear and thorough. From your concert experience, please analyze to the best of your ability the music that you heard, and how it affects you. Musical terminology: Use musical language that you understand. Discussing and analyzing the separate elements such as rhythm, melody, harmony, texture, form, or any other information learned in class is encouraged. Ideally, you will discuss how these elements are synthesized to create a successful piece of music. In your conclusion, please sum up your experience, and that of your guest, in the report, based on the analysis of different elements of the concert. Grammar and sentence structure: As this is a university class, I expect university level writing from you; please proofread your papers carefully for errors. If you encounter any difficulties with the syntax of your paper, resort to the Academic Assistance and Resource Center (AARC). You may NOT copy or paraphrase sentences from previous papers of yours written in this class. You may NOT plagiarize. (Put everything in your own words.) Part II (Two Pages): Experiencing Live Performance With An Invited Guest This project is where you ask a friend, family member, a member of your class or a person that you know in the community, to attend a concert together. A live concert would be best however you may watch a concert with your invited guest either Live, Online, on TV or DVD during the semester. You and the invited guest both pick which concert you wish to attend. The concert needs to be about an hour long. Once you picked a concert, both of you do some research about the concert and the music being played. You need to talk about concert etiquette to your invited guest: Attending Live Classical Concerts. 1. Get there early 2. Wear conservative clothes 3. NO TALKING DURING THE CONCERT PERIOD! 4. NO CELLPHONE USE PERIOD! 5. You must stay for the full concert. (DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH TIME attend another concert. 6. Clap after the concert wait to clap if you dont know when to clap between compositions. 7. Walk out in an orderly manner. 8. NO EATING, DRINKING, CELL PHONES or TALKING DURING ANY CLASSICAL CONCERT HERE AT SFA! IF YOU DISRUPT A CONCERT GIVEN AT SFA YOUR GRADE WILL BE LOWER ONE LETTER! Then you come up with some questions to ask your invited guest about what you expect as well as some questions to ask once the concert is over. After the concert, write a concert report sharing and comparing personal views of the event with those of the invited guest. How did you both enjoyed or not enjoyed the concert? Would you attend that same concert again? How effectively did the concert etiquette talk prepare your guest for the concert? Etc. The report should be about two pages long covering the complete process of the picking the invited guest, picking the concert, research on the performers and music being performed, going over concert etiquette, going to the concert and the dialogue after you both watched the concert. Make sure you cover all parts of this concert going experience in your report. You may go to any concert, classical, jazz, rock, etc. The concert may be at SFA as well as anywhere else. It is preferred that you attend a live concert, however you may watch a concert on TV, DVD or Online with your Invited guest as long as the concert is about an hour long or more. IF YOU DISRUPT A CONCERT GIVEN AT SFA YOUR GRADE WILL BE LOWER ONE LETTER.
