Project and Practicum Assignment: Final Executive Summary and Attachments This week, your 10-page Executive Summary, plus title page, reference page(s), and the specified Attachments, is due to submit for Faculty review and final approval. WEEKLY RESOURCES To prepare: Be sure you are adding to the the Executive Summary Template you began in NURS 8312 and added to in NURS 8514. Review any text chapters or other Learning Resources to support your thinking and writing. Review feedback from Faculty on previous drafts of the Executive Summary narrative and attachment documents. Determine any peer feedback from your Week 6 Blog to apply. The Assignment Address the following in your Executive Summary narrative and Attachments. Include elements from the NURS 8514 Proposal Summary to provide a coherent Executive Summary. Present an introduction to the project. Explain the impetus for a new program/change in the organization. Provide internal data and community-level data that support the importance of this issue for the organization. Summarize key literature that supports an approach to this change. Present the logic model framework for change Present how this new program/change is aligned with the organization’s mission, vision, and values. Detail any potential risks to the organization. Analyze the value to the organization. Present the team charter. Identify key stakeholders and their roles. Detail any new technologies or software needs and any supply chain and training issues to be addressed. Reference any accreditation standards. Detail any regulatory, legal, and union issues that need to be addressed. Provide a detailed implementation plan with goals, objectives, responsible parties, deliverables, and timelines. Provide a draft budget that includes evaluation of outcomes using ROI or other indices. Provide an evaluation plan that specifies formative and summative measures. Justify the potential project outcomes for the organization and/or community. Summarize the project contribution to the nursing profession describing the tangible impact the project will make on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
