This is not a paper this is a short weekly discussion. you will focus on the evaluation portion of your capstone project. Measuring outcome variables before and after a practice change is essential when documenting the success of an intervention. How do you decide what to measure? Deciding what to measure should be directly related to why the practice change is being implemented. This could be to improve patient health outcomes, improve a patient's experience, decrease healthcare costs, or increase workforce satisfaction. These are just a few ideas. I invite you to also refer to this week's journal article in your lecture material. Once a practice change is evaluated, the findings must then be disseminated. Please include the following items in this week's discussion: 1. What will you be measuring? 2. Apply one principle of quality improvement in the collection, analysis, and display of data 3. Apply one principle of dissemination in sharing EBP projects 4.
