Hello everyone! I am currently working on my master’s Research Project. “Transit Propensity in Miami-Dade County: Examining Socioeconomic, Demographic, Built Environment, and Transit Accessibility Factors.” I have completed my Introduction, Literature Review, and Methodology, and I am now beginning the data collection and analysis phase of my research. My study examines the factors associated with transit propensity in Miami-Dade County, including: • Socioeconomic factors: household income, vehicle ownership, and education • Demographic factors: age, race/ethnicity, employment status, and household size • Built environment factors: population density, land use/mixed-use development, walkability, and job accessibility • Transit accessibility/service factors: proximity to bus and rail, transit service frequency, travel time, and service availability • Transit use: ridership and commute mode choice I am looking for guidance on identifying, obtaining, and organizing reliable datasets—particularly ACS/Census, Miami-Dade Transit, GIS, land use, and transit service/ridership data—that can support my analysis. If you have experience with transportation research, GIS, Census/ACS data, transit planning, or Miami-Dade transportation datasets and can point me toward useful resources or provide guidance on the data collection process, I would greatly appreciate your assistance
