Why gender matters in Understanding Sept 11: Women, Militarism and Violence; the War on Women by Amy Caiazza

This is an ethnic studies assignment. I want an essay of a total of 2-3 pages reflecting on any of the following articles.
Here's the course description to help you out know what this course talks about:

'In this introductory course you will learn about the diversity of American society focusing on Southern California. While race and ethnicity are the primary focus of the course, the course also examines gender, sexuality, class and other social categories. The course is not a sampling of each individual ethnic group or social group and focuses on issues and approaches that affect marginalized communities both individually and in relation to one another. Topics may include: affirmative action, stereotypes in mass media, institutional racism, transnationalism, job discrimination, housing accessibility, violence, health care equity, educational access, cultural representation and community politics'

Include a bibliography (not included in page count) and use MLA format for your citations.
Identify an ethnic space in Southern California. Include a detailed profile of the space.
Use specific examples from course materials, your own experiences and ideas to explain why you chose this place. Your thesis will basically be some form of I believe X is a ethnic space.
To support this thesis, some questions you may explore include, but are not limited to:
How does your space illustrate key ideas in the course?
Is your space also outside the U.S.? Explain.
Will your space be an ethnic space in 2116? Why or why not?

I will upload some attachments and put links to some videos from this class to help you know what to write in this essay.
