Research Proposal The student will complete a brief (1-2 page) report identifying the subject topic that the student plans to explore, explaining what the student hopes to accomplish in the research paper, and citing research strategies. The topic must be broad enough to be developed into a twelve to fifteen page paper, but not so broad that it cannot be accomplished in fifteen pages. The paper should be 12-15 pages in length, and it must discuss a topic of the learners choice. It must include at least six references with a minimum of twelve citations.
