Instruction
Develop skills in executing outcomes and benchmarks of organizational change. Reflect on the readings and videos to answer these discussion questions:
1. Acknowledging the presence of multiple learning styles within a company can explain some intergroup conflict and barriers to learning. If parts of a company learn in contrasting ways, then it is highly unlikely that knowledge will be efficiently transferred across functional or group boundaries. Once we recognize such barriers, we can manage them as a potential source of diversity and competitive advantage. Select three of the learning orientations discussed in chapter 31 and explain these institutional learning processes can contribute to outcome and benchmark of organizational change.
2. Once existing and desired capabilities are identified, a client must develop an action plan to eliminate any gaps and produce change. Some actions may be designed for the individual level, others at a collective or social level. Based on your actual experience or a factious example, utilize the three-step process to develop outcomes and benchmark to help promote and build learning capability for your organization or company.
