Abstract on Global Culture DUE: Thursday, OCT 26 via Canvas Your task is to write an Abstract of a hypothetical research paper on the broad topic of Global Culture. More specifically, write a thesis statement (or a 'hypothesis') that links the concept of GLOBALIZATION with the concept of CULTURE to discuss the topic of global culture. (1) Write a clear thesis statement; (2) Support this with material from the readings you have completed in the course that relate to this topic. You do NOT need to do research beyond reading the required readings; (3) Include the list of References (in APA style) that you used to support your thesis statement. Length: approximately 350 - 500 words. Submission: Word doc. NOTE: An abstract is essentially a summary of a paper that usually is written after the paper is completed. In this case, you are writing an abstract without even writing a paper so you should reflect a bit on what your paper would or could contain and how the readings can support your it point (thesis statement). Points & Grading Criteria: Completed the task (2 pts); Clear thesis statement (2 pts); Supports thesis (4 pts); Reference (2 pts) = 10 General criteria: Clarity, coherence, accuracy, APA style used, and evidence of reading
