The design above depends on the narration of individuals’ accounts and interpreting the meanings thereof. The narratives referred to may be obtained from different groups of people including family members and caregivers. The researcher draws information from the stories that are narrated. The information obtained is analyzed by the researcher who then re-tells the story based on their conclusions. It sought to evaluate the hypothesis stating that a total of 51 million people in India are living with diabetes and answer the research question, what is the prevalence of diabetes in India?
