As you know, servant leadership is considered a philosophy (although others refer to it as a theory). Regardless, there are obvious comparisons to be made with existing organizational behavior theories and concepts.
First Paragraph.
As you know, servant leadership is considered a philosophy (although others refer to it as a theory). Regardless, there are obvious comparisons to be made with existing organizational behavior theories and concepts.
First Paragraph.
In this paragraph, analyze a true servant leader in terms of the “Big Five” personality theory (see Chapter 3 in your textbook for the "Big Five"). That is, what do you think would be a Big Five profile for a servant leader and why? Provide examples to illustrate what you claim regarding each of the “five.” NOTE: Opinions can obviously differ regarding extra version/introversion!
Second Paragraph.
In this paragraph, analyze a true servant leader in terms of the Job Characteristics model (see Chapter 14 in your text, pp. 227-228). To do so, create a hypothetical work situation in which you show how a servant leader would approach the situation with his or her workers in converting to this type of job design. Do NOT use the same scenario as the one in class! NOTE: Extra information regarding this model can be found in the associated module on Canvas. Use it! (Be sure to address the issue of “Growth Need Strength”!)
