If you are answering the question about setting, you need a clear thesis statement in the introduction, which states how you feel the setting enhances your understanding of the main character. Here are some questions you might ask yourself. Where is the story set? What is the overall atmosphere/mood of this setting? What are some of the details of the setting? How do these details help us understand the main character? You also must follow formatting directions. Delete extra space between paragraphs and eliminate boldface font in the title. Please write in complete sentences.
