The second concert must be a performance in a contrasting style, such as jazz, popular, or world music. You will need to do a bit of preliminary research about the performer(s) and venue/context for the worksheet. Check the classical concert links page for general information on concerts in the Denver Metro Area Details can be found on various sites for dates, times, cost, and, in some cases, programs to be performed. Two good sources for this assignment are the Colorado Music Festival and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. You will find the schedules of their performances on their Web sites. NOTE: not all of their concerts are appropriate for this assignment.
