(1) Cite a particular philosopher who might have been persuasive to stop the birth of Nazism and explain what was in that person's philosophy which might have prevented or stopped Nazism--provide the philosopher's argument. (2) How does democracy enhance and/or stifle/repress individual freedom? (3) What illusion did Nazism create? (4) What is the psychology of Nazism? (4a) What made the psychology of Nazism ripe for it succeeding during its era? (4b) Are conditions favorable for the psychology of Nazism to arise in the world today? Explain how this is or is not possible. (5) What role does regret play in free will and determinism? (5a) What role does free will and/or determinism play one's adherence to Nazism under Hitler's regime? (6) Explain isolation and alienation and if they do or do not play a role in one ascribing to Nazism.
