Theories of Aging Application Paper

Date Posted: 02/04/2018
Category: Other
Due Date: 05/04/2018
Instruction
Learning Goal: Application of aging theory to aging experiences. Investigate the scholarly literature on one (1) biological AND one (1) psycho-social theory from the list of appropriate theories provided for this assignment. Describe how each theory could be applied to the life and experience of the older adult that you interviewed for the Life Histories Assignment. Description: Choose TWO aging theories (1) biological theory and (1) psycho-social theory. You may choose the theories from the list that was provided, or another theory WITH PRIOR PERMISSION from the instructor. Refer to the EXAMPLE paper that was provided (with a biological theory) to see how to fill in the information. TEMPLATE: When you start working, use the blank TEMPLATE that was provided. Be sure to scroll down through the form and fill in the information on both types of theories and their application to the older adult. 1) TEMPLATE - TOP OF FORM Fill in the top lines of the form with your name and fill in the pseudonym or initials and the age for your older adult Interviewee. 2) TEMPLATE - FIRST COLUMN List the name of the theory you chose. Explain as much as you can find about the history the theory (Who developed it? When? Where? What was the purpose behind its development?) Give a (2-3 paragraph) description/summary of the theory. Conclude the column with… A list of References for 2-3 resources per theory. Use scholarly peer-reviewed journal articles, books, or academic websites with a .edu suffix or those created by professors (not Wikipedia). You may use information from research books, but not a course textbook. NOTE: Sources should be publications from within the past 10 years unless it is a seminal (classic) research piece (i.e. The one reference on the EXAMPLE paper that refers to the original 1977 publication about the Hayflick Limit. Be sure to also use in-text citations and list References in APA or MLA style as noted in the EXAMPLE paper. 3) TEMPLATE – 2nd COLUMN Fill in the second column with information about how you think the theory applies to your older adult Interviewee (based on what you learned about them in the Life Histories Interview assignment and based on your readings). 4) SUBMIT COMPLETED TEMPLATE. Save the completed TEMPLATE (Word document) with your name and the assignment name and date. Submit via the ACE Assignments link. NOTES: - Review all of the documents attached to the Assignment before you start the work and you will have a better understanding of what is expected for this assignment.

Good day, I checked the new work you have posted, and would like to work on it. I'm an experienced scholar, currently pursuing my PhD and am pretty comfortable with these topics. With more than 5000 projects done, I'm very comfortable with any kind of formatting or referencing style. I have online access to several paid websites like wiley, pubs, scifinder, sciencedirect etc, and so I make sure You get only good journals and peer reviewed references. Looking forward to your reply; also if there are additional instructions etc, please do let me know. Thank you
