The purpose of the paper is for the student to explore current issues in one area of operations management covered in the text. It does not need to be one of the areas discussed during the course. The writing lab is available to assist students with proper formatting, sentence structure and review of document. They will even assist you with getting started with your paper. It's a free resource and is very helpful! All that is required is a 24 hour turn-around time. Take advantage of this great service. Note 1) After submitting your documents in canvas or through the canvas "turnitin" link, your are responsible for confirming the document loaded properly and is available to the instructor. If a document does not load properly and the student does not verify the submission was received, the risk is that the student will not receive a score for the assignment.
Note 2) If a document cannot be loaded through the canvas portal, try changing the browser, clearing cookies and cache and turning off pop-up blockers. If still unable to load your document, . Allow yourself enough time for submissions in case there are issues with submitting your document. Waiting until minutes before the final due date is not a good practice.
