The last section of chapter 5 describes three basic approaches to religious belief. These are "volitional justification for religious belief," "religious mysticism," and "religious existentialism." After you have read this section carefully, please do the following: In your own words, write a summary of each of these approaches in a brief paragraph (approximately 4 to 6 sentences), one paragraph for each approach. In the last paragraph, indicate whether you think these alternative approaches to religious belief are better than the more "rational" approaches associated with the traditional arguments for the existence of God and why is that the case (Note: even if you do not have a religious belief you should be able to answer the last question because you can still indicate whether these approaches make more sense from a philosophical point of view than more traditional approaches). In summary, the assignment should have 4 paragraphs and be only 1 page long or 1.5 at the most.
