  • Your textbook defines “learning” as a “difference that occurs with the learner” (Sellers, 2010, p. 39). This “deep” type of learning is about a change in your thinking about a topic, a new attitude about something, or a change in your behavior. As you grow into an autonomous learner, you’ll need to understand how you learn from a “brain” perspective and gain some more practical tools to enhance your ability to retain and build on your new knowledge. Chapters 2, 3, 4, and 5 are designed to help us gain this knowledge and skill on learning. There are many tools described here for helping us develop into a well-rounded college student.

  • did u get my last message
    User_16131 | Jul 22, 2018, 22:02 PM
  • Yes; but i think there are more instructions needed
    Thetutor | Jul 22, 2018, 22:04 PM
  • This assignment is a reflection paper on what you have learned from these chapters and how you are currently using and adapting these learning strategies in college. Use the following information to guide your reflections. This assignment is more open ended for you to explore what you have learned from Ch. 2-5. So use the questions as a guide; however, the paper should include some personal examples from your first 6 to 7 weeks in college. Share examples on how you are transforming your learning and study habits to reflect the traits of an autonomous learner.
    User_16131 | Jul 22, 2018, 22:08 PM
  • Got it; the assignment will be ready in the next 18 hours.
    Thetutor | Jul 22, 2018, 22:11 PM
  • 1) What are several ways in which college learning differs from high school learning? If high school is a distant memory, reflect on how college learning is different from job-related learning? Then, discuss how you are adapting to this new way of learning. Provide examples.
    User_16131 | Jul 22, 2018, 22:11 PM
  • What is the name of the class text boom you are using?
    Thetutor | Jul 22, 2018, 22:12 PM
  • What is the name of the class text book you are using?
    Thetutor | Jul 22, 2018, 22:12 PM
  • 2. Describe one of the theories of learning (such as brain learning theory or the dual-store model of memory) and relate the information to your own learning in class and as you study. Did knowledge of this theory change how you approach studying for class? Provide examples. 3. College classes require more intensive and in-depth study strategies. What study techniques have you learned that have become helpful in your current classes? For example, how’s your note taking going and your reading of textbooks? Share how you are changing your approach for the demands of studying in college.
    User_16131 | Jul 22, 2018, 22:15 PM
  • 4. Finally, reflect on your college experience so far. What have been some of your most interesting learning experiences? How are you handling the stress of exams and papers? What’s working for you? And, in what areas do you need to adapt to maintain or increase your success in college? Share what have you learned about yourself and the process of learning in college so far. What advice will you give yourself? What your instructor is looking for: This paper should provide a review, reflection, and response to your learning based on chapters 2-5. It can include learning from your reading, self assessments, group activities, class lectures/activities; and/or any other engagement with the material for this class.
    User_16131 | Jul 22, 2018, 22:16 PM
  • The paper should provide an assessment of how you think the course material may have affected you or changed you, and how you can apply your learning to other college courses and/or your life. The paper should provide some advice that you give yourself regarding your future as a student or in other aspects of your life. FORMAT: Create an original title, use 12point font, standard margins, double space, paper is about 1.5 to 2 pages in length (+750 to +1000 words)
