I feel like the thesis doesn't make much sense... like what do you think the theme is? That was the point of the essay. To examine it and consider 1 specific theme. Whether that being the theme is that you never truly finish getting to know someone.

There are several themes in the story. So, I thought including them in the thesis statement would make it wordy hence considered discussing them in a separate section once we receive your professor feedback.

There can only be one theme. We have to pick just one theme and then give 3 reasons as why we believe that in the thesis statement. Then later on, we have to explain those three reasons in the essay and find supporting information.
