***I have a paper due for a healthcare management class this week, the one thing I am going to need someone willing to take on the task is to choose a court case from the book I've been using for the semester.
The book is: Legal Aspects of Health Care Administration - Thirteenth Edition - ISBN: 978-1-28412717-1
If you are unable to obtain a chosen court case from the book, then I can choose one out of the book and provide you with it.***
PAPER GUIDELINES:
You will prepare one paper for this class. It is due by the end of the last day of class.
For your paper, choose a court case in the textbook you found to be of particular interest. If you are a healthcare professional, use your professional viewpoint.
Identify the case by the name of the case (case caption) and the page where it is cited in the textbook ("Case") in your opening paragraph.
Present why the Case caught your attention..
Describe what you think the influence the Case has been to healthcare (changes that have resulted from the Case; the good/bad effects the Case has had on providers, e.g., doctors, nurses, hospitals, insurers, etc.
Conclude with a summary of why you agree or disagree with the decision of the Case.
The paper should be prepared with the following formatting and criteria:
In the opening paragraph, identify your case (citation and page number in the text)
Approximately 1,000 words in length (minimum 950 words for full credit); typical paper is 3-4 pages long)
Submit as a text document (Word, txt, .rtf) or .pdf file) by uploading to the paper dropbox.

The heading on the paper must include your last name, first name, student number, date and "LAW C126".
Submit your paper via upload to the class Dropbox on the class webpage. It must be received by 11:59:59 pm, Pacific Coast time, on the last Sunday of the course for full credit. Papers may be submitted up to 48 hours past the deadline, but will be reduced one grade level. Papers will not be accepted more than 48 hours past the deadline.
Note: Although this is not a writing class, (and no college writing formats are expected) the students are expected to present their papers in accordance with standards for work done in medical, legal, insurance and other such professional offices dealing with the legal aspects of healthcare. Quality, spelling, grammar, accuracy, sentence control and word choice are important considerations when writing your paper.
Your paper can be submitted in any of the following formats: Text (.txt), Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx), Portable Document Format (.pdf), Rich Text Format (.rtf), WordPerfect (.wp), or Open Office (.odt/.ods/.odp).
