Identify one scene you felt was a high point of the story and which you feel inspired to analyze and discuss.

Watch the movie, taking careful note of how (and whether) the scene youve selected unfolds in the movie vs. the book.

Reread the scene in the story
Review the scene in the movie

Include in your thesis statement:

what similarities and differences you observe, and
what are at least two ways the changes affect the impact of your chosen scene.

The paper is to be at LEAST three, full, double spaced pages long and must use quotes from the text and movie and analyze them as part of your discussion.

Body paragraphs that discuss the supporting points in the order they are mentioned in the thesis statement. 3. Good transitions between paragraphs. 4. A conclusion which summarizes what has been said in the body of the paper. 5. Appropriate diction and tone. These five elements are absolutely essential. Papers will be graded on whether or not the five elements are present.

I have been waiting for your reply to send you my thesis statement, which covers the book and movie scene for which to write the paper...
