However, it is our wish for you that you take the time to understand your wants and needs, develop strategies to deal with adversity and ultimately feel fully empowered to pursue your dreams. Before you attempt to complete this assignment, read pages 35-95 in the Text Book. This assignment actually has 3 distinct sections. 1. Complete the activity on page 43- 44 of the text book (Personal Reflection). List the three top elements that you come up with and explain how those elements may, or may not, help inform some of the decisions you face going forward. 2. The text book talks about Business Plans and Career Plans being similar. Choose at least 3 from the following list of 6 concepts and identify one way that the factors within a business plan context and a career plan context are similar and one way that they are different. Identify the concept you choose and then list how they would be similar and how they might be different. The factors you can choose from are: * Playing the Blame Game * Value Scanning * Mass Customization * Networking * Informational Interviews * Marketing 3. Review the Survive/Adapt/Flourish model and identify one way that you can help prepare yourself to identify if you are in the SAF cycle and identify one way that you might be able to get out of the cycle more quickly. Save the results in a Word file and attach it to this assignment when you submit it.
