Instruction
I really want to make sure you have a good chance to understand the Uniform Commercial Code, and its importance in today's business environment. The UCC is a set of laws passed by a National Commission that govern commercial transaction, and then adopted by the state legislatures throughout the country.
So, Halloween gives you time to become an expert on one section of the UCC, which is in the California Commercial Code. If you go here, you will find California law. By the way, this is where all California laws can be found.

And then select, Commercial Code. Then, go to Division 2. Now, pick a section that has not been done more than once by someone else, any section, beginning with 2-201. If your last name begins with A-G, choose a section from 2-201 to 2-210. If your name begins with H-L, choose a section from 2-301 to 2-327. If it is M, look at 2-328. If N-Z, look at 2-501 to 2515. Read the section, try to understand it, and then google it. See if there is anything you can find about it. Especially, see if there are any cases that have been decided about it.
Then, I'd like to hire you to teach the class about your section. After you have done the above, do a small report about the section. Go ahead and copy and paste in the section, and then see if you can explain what the section means. Look for comments about the section. Describe any cases you have found, and summarize that. Since you will be an expert in it, google the section number and note what you have found. And, give an example of the section in action and a little advice to the person in the class that will find they need that section some day.
After you have done that, go and read the work of 5 others, and reply to three. Comments like "swell" will not get the 3 points, but comments like "I never understood 2-207 until you explained it, Elise" or "Now I see, Misaac, you really don't have to have price in an agreement" will get the 3 reply points. Do your teaching by Saturday night and your replies by Monday night.
Good job, now go forth and teach. I can't wait to read your work!
