You will need to read the posted PDF: J. Cullen Howe’s Overview of Green Building. The document serves as a non-technical introduction to green buildings and frames the outline of course nicely. The topics in the reading serve as introductions for many of the course topics. As for the assignment, you will need to write two pages (not including the cover page and reference pages) describing what makes a green building green. Specifically, what technologies and design considerations you would expect to see in a building that is considered “green” compared to a building that is not. The building you choose can be a commercial or residential structure. Use 12pt Times New Roman single space format for the paper with one space between paragraphs.
