Answer each question with 3-4 sentences: 1) Animators often will have a portfolio of their work. What other professions might find it useful to have a portfolio of work as well? How might these differ from an animation portfolio? 2) Imagine that someone plagiarized your work. How would you feel and how would you handle it? What steps might you take to rectify the situation, if any? 3) Come up with a mnemonic device to remember the key points of making an elevator pitch. A mnemonic device is a technique used to remember something like an acronym or rhyme. For example, Never Eat Soggy Waffles helps people remember the directions North, South, East, West. Get creative and briefly explain your mnemonic device. 4) Imagine that you are putting together an animation team and are in charge of a large part of the hiring process. Come up with two questions that you would ask a potential employee, two qualities that you would hope to see, and two job-related skills that you would want them to have. 5) Which of the top social and self-management skills discussed in the unit do you think would be most important to have for a career in animation? Do you think it’s possible to work in animation if you don’t have this skill? Which skill would be important regardless of the field that you want to work in?
