In “The Two Offers,” what does the story reveal about the expectations of womanhood? Since the short story revolves around two primary characters (Jeanette & Laura), pick one of these characters to explore. Instead of telling the audience what the characters do in the short story, focus on what these actions represent (for instance, identify a specific scene to explore the meaning of womanhood). Requirements: 250-word response (2 body paragraphs) Use 2-3 direct quotes from the reading in the response Correct MLA format Avoid: Outside sources. The only source allowed for this assignment is the literature. Do not use online sources to create discussion posts. When you submit your post it will be submitted to SafeAssign, which determines whether the entry is plagiarized or not. First-person (“I,” “me”) and second person pronouns (“you,” “your”). Using “I think,” “I feel,” “I believe,” and “In my opinion” because these statements prove nothing. Using the author’s first name.
