for every QOTW a 1-page (so total of 3 pages, i have attached example paper) - 11 font - , double spaced ----------------- the question of the week (QOTW#4) This is an exercise in spiritual reflection. Each person shall have a knotted string fixed around their wrist. Try not to fixate on the string - it is light so as to be unobtrusive. The knotted string is meant to remind you from time to time that Christ is present in your live at all times. Re-center the knot on your wrist anytime you see it is un-centered. The goal of keeping the knot centered is to remind you Christ should be central in your life, to "Focus on the Cross"! Failure of the string may occur; it is a normal part of the experience. Retie and/or replace it as necessary. Even a hair tie may work if it is not too tight. This is clearly a self-reflection question, so anything you experience is fair game ################### The QOTW #5 is as follows: Interpret and then reflect on these two statements: (1) I don’t need God to be in charge of my life – only the center of my life. (2) God does not want from you – He wants for you. ############ QOTW #6 is: Our human essence, as designed by God, is a marriage of the natural self, or body, and the super-natural self, or soul and grace. In order to fully understand “Who am I”, one must consider the totality of oneself (natural plus supernatural) made in the image of God, modeled by Jesus Christ who is both man and God in one person. This quote may require more soul searching to answer. Considering this, reflect on the following CSL quote:
“The natural life in each of us is something self-centered…to exploit the universe. It is afraid of the light of the spiritual world, like the dirty avoid the bath. It knows if the spiritual life gets ahold of it, all its self-centeredness and self-will are going to be killed, and it is ready to fight tooth and nail to avoid it.” ###############
