Instruction
-Your paper should be well organized in at least three paragraphs:
-You need a brief opening paragraph. This paragraph should give me your plan for how you are addressing the question.
-The main body paragraph or paragraphs should develop your ideas.
-I recommend a very brief concluding paragraph. (For a 300-word paper, a single sentence may suffice for the final paragraph.)
-Your paper should be properly written:
-Proofread for spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
-Use inclusive language. (For example, do not use "man" when referring to all humanity. See the policies section of the syllabus.)
-At least 300 words long
Question to Answer
1.Reflection Paper #2: In Plato’s Apology, we see Socrates defending himself against the charges that were brought against him at his trial. But at another level, this dialogue can be read as Plato’s defense of the philosophical life. Draw upon this dialogue to explain Plato’s defense of philosophy. If you wish, critically evaluate Plato’s defense. (Note: don’t confuse Socrates with Plato. To answer this question, you need to think about Plato’s purpose for writing the dialogue and not just the words of Socrates in the dialogue.)
