Naturalistic Observation Go to a fast food restaurant with a children’s play area or a park. Observe the interaction of the parents and children. Find at least one example of each parenting style of Baumrind’s: authoritarian-demanding, set and enforce rules but unresponsive to children’s needs or wishes, authoritative-warm, responsive involved, set rules for children and have consequences for not following rules permissive-indulgent-responsive, warm, don’t set rules or punish permissive-indifferent-unresponsive to child and uncontrolling of behavior. Paper should be typed and turned in on the day it is due according to the syllabus to receive full credit. Then i explained the most common style in the conclusion. Just read the second part of your instructions because I believe that is the grading rubric.
