This week you read CHPT 10, 11, 12, and 13 which contained information about career development and interventions in educational and community settings. For this week's discussion forum, reflect on the readings, lecture/presentation, and your life experience to respond to the following: Four educational settings and ten community settings were discussed in your readings this week. Each setting was unique in some ways and similar in others including such areas as goals, potential issues, roles of the counselor, and appropriate interventions. Select one educational setting and one community setting. Compare and contrast the two settings addressing at least two of the areas listed above along with any additional information that would be helpful to a counselor working in that setting. Include any multicultural considerations that pertain to the settings or populations you select.
