The purpose of Homework #2 is to assist you in performing quality academic research – something you will be required to perform throughout your UMGC Grad studies. For Homework #2 you will be required to 1) locate and summarize a Case Study, 2) develop a Research Question, and 3) create an Annotated Bibliography utilizing a minimum of five PEER REVIEWED journal articles. As reflected in the Course Schedule Homework #2 is due in your Assignment Folder by 11:59 PM on 6/23/20. – Homework #2 lays the groundwork for your upcoming Individual Research Paper Assignment. Generally, in Graduate School students are expected to take the initiative on assignments with minimal direction and guidance. However, since many of you are just beginning your Graduate School studies attached below are two examples reflecting the content of the type of submission that is expected in the format that is expected for Homework #2. Please note that Example #2 does not include the required APA formatted Title Page that you need to include on all of your Grad School submissions. Please make sure that at least five of the articles utilized in your annotated reference list are from PEER REVIEWED journals. The UMGC librarian can provide guidance on this issue. You can utilize additional references to support your research but must utilize at least five articles from peer reviewed journals. I am quite flexible on what is considered to be a “management-related” topic. The management topic you select should be the same topic you utilize for your upcoming Individual Research Project Assignment.
