FINAL ASSIGNMENT PAPER (PLEASE USE EASY WORDS NOT literature words!!!! Im second year of college) Your final writing assignment is a research essay that focuses on Coffee Culture as a builder of community life. Use each question below to create a discussion paragraph by responding to the question. Each paragraph should be 12-15 lines long. Include details from some of the readings you read, this semester, to support the details you present. The readings was: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/21/style/coronavirus-coffee-open-nyc.html, Coffee Culture: Local Experiences, Global Connections 2nd Edition by Catherine M. Tucker. Avoid lengthy quotations. Choose FIVE (5) sources to include. Do not rely overly on the writer’s words. Use your understanding of what you have read and what you have learned to create your discussion. Be sure to include your thoughts concerning the ideas you include and your own sense of reasoning to justify your own opinion. If a paragraph it too long, then you may divide it into two. Each paragraph needs indenting. • What is coffee, where is it grown, and why is coffee such a popular beverage? • Summarize some of the main points Tucker discussed in her book on Coffee Culture • What is one role coffee plays in our daily life and explain how and why this role is important? Include a quote from one of the readings to support your response. • How do we think about and perceive coffee? • What potential health risks do some argue about coffee consumption? Use ideas from a reading to respond. Do you agree? Why or why not. • State what you learned about coffee as a community builder. • Create a Works Cited page to reflect the sources you included in your paper. Do not include more that 5 sources When complete, this paper should contain the following • An MLA title page. Create a title for your paper • Paper should have 6-8 paragraphs (seven or eight if you had to break lengthy paragraphs) • An MLA Works Cited Page
