Instructionwrite discussion questions You may (and I encourage you to) include several sub-questions as part of one question. You can extend your question as much as you want, especially if you need to clarify what you mean. Guidelines for writing discussion questions: •Your questions should be directed toward your classmates These should come from your engagement with the readings and should stimulate an in-depth discussion. So, make sure your questions don’t just have yes/no or other right/wrong answers. Think of questions that will allow you to hear other students’ ideas, thoughts, and perspectives on the readings. And yes, I invite you to ask controversial questions and raise points that may cause disagreement, too! Those are the most interesting!
