This assignment involves a short review of information about an individual - mafia hit-man Richard "The Ice Man" Kuklinski - on the internet to learn a bit about him before watching an video of his interview by a psychiatrist: Look up information about Richard Kuklinski online; for the purposes of this assignment, Wikipedia is fine. Review the video interview of Kuklinski "Inside the Mind of a Mafia Hitman" below: The Iceman Tapes Dr Park Dietz evaluates and interviews Richard The Iceman Kuklinski - YouTube (Note: some scenes and discussions are GRAPHIC; you may briefly skip ahead any segment that makes you uncomfortable...generally 30 seconds to 1 minute...if need be). Write an essay analyzing and reflecting on how Kuklinski's personality and life experiences relate to this chapter, specifically the section "The Psychology of Organized Crime." (Be sure to address the psychopathic personality & behavioral psychology discussions in the textbook and apply them to this case.) Also very briefly compare it and the readings to the video above in "To Do" about how the son of a major mafia figure views the mafia as social or "gentlemanly" organization. (Mainly focus on Kuklinski psychological analysis while looking at Chapter 2 concepts.)
