In addition to attaching a copy of the article, you will write a 1-2-paragraph summary of the article. This is challenging because you are limited to 1-2 paragraphs. Each paragraph should be at least 3-4 complete sentences. o Remember: A solid paragraph has an introduction, solid body content and a transition or conclusion sentence. Please only use relevant, well-respected sources. Wikipedia is not on these. I prefer you not use the local newspapers, BUT they can sometimes provide good information. Learning objectives: 1. The goal here is to show that you can write concisely in business most employers want this. 2. The second goal is to see if you can pull out the big rocks of an article and articulate a thorough summary. Act like I will not have time to read the article but I have to report on it to my boss. Spelling and grammar count: Use the writing center if you need it. Please do not use contractions in any business paper this includes a small assignment like this. A contraction = dont. (Spell it out) You may use first person to explain why you chose the article but not for the summary part. Limit this to one page.
