Executive Summary
Introduction and Alignment
Now that you have created a plan for a social services program to address the issue you explored in earlier workshops, you will need to summarize this information in an executive summary to share with your instructor. An executive summary allows others to validate the information gathered and ensure that your program is effectively targeted toward meeting the needs of the community. This assignment provides you with an opportunity to create and present your executive summary, before continuing program development in HMSR-430: Administration in Human Services.
What's Next?
In the HMSR-430: Administration in Human Services course, you will continue to develop the social service program you have identified and discussed with your instructor in this HMSR-420 course. You will develop a business plan, expand on identifying staffing needs, and formulate a budget.
During the HMSR-490: Capstone in Human Services course, you will finalize and complete your social services program. You could then present your program to your community organization for implementation!
Upon completion of this assignment, you should be able to:
• Explain the purpose of the needs assessment results.
• Evaluate the process and seek feedback from peers.
