Number 1 hw hi guys, what's up? I have English literature hw... its a poem that I choose and there are some check lists hw that I want you to do. guys, this assignment is not a research paper. so, there is no need for references!!!!!! I will uploaded many pictures. the first pic is the poem. and the other pic is the hw... there is no need for long answers unless it needed. short answer is fine.

I need you to read this before you start doing the h.w please What Are These Checklists All About . Here is what the checklists are for: 1. They help you understand your poem more thoroughly so you can write more intelligently about them in your explication paper. 2. To help you use the textbook resources to their fullest. 3. To show me you are understanding each of the elements (tone, word choice, saying and suggesting) as you apply them to your chosen poem. 4. To allow you to go slowly and thoroughly through you poem, to do a good 'slow read' of it so that you can speak intelligently and not just emotionally about the poem. 5. To ensure that you read the textbook for each chapter so that you understand, for example, how the tone of the poem contributes to its meaning. Or the word choice. Or...got it? 6. You will be arguing for a particular understanding of the poem so you need to use these checklists to argue for your position.
