  • thank you. So this week was pretty much the same as last week which was doing vital signs for the elders and also checking blood sugar for those patients who are diabetic. I was also able to calm down one of the elders named Zoe who was upset and crying who is also greek. She i believe has a little early onset dementia. I was able to play some greek music from my phone that calmed her down and told her the stories about my grandfather who was also born and raised in greece. it made her very happy. I was also able to communivate with one of the elders who does not speak much with anyone and just comes in from 8am and starts coloring. Her name is Rose. I was able to converse with her and take her out of her comfort zone of not speaking with anyone. It was a successful day i felt helping the elders.

  • Hello friend, how are you? Do you think you can do this weeks reflectoin pls. There was nothing special that I did, just the regular vital checks and spending time with the elderly. One thing was that I visited the daycare for the children next door which is apart of one generation. I was able to take one of the elderly clients names Roza to spend time with some of the babies. She loved it. Thank you.
