How did the African Diaspora resulting from the Transatlantic Slave Trade foster cultural exchange and creolized cultures in the Americas?
Aside from music, which we will discuss in M7D2, examine in depth a few of the cultural practices where we can see the legacy of the slave trade and slavery. How did the cultural exchanges differ by region?
How and why did African slaves retain these traditions in their forced migration?
