Option 1: Housing Research and describe what housing is like in Spain and one or two other Spanish-speaking countries: • Discuss the types of areas/regions in which homes are usually located (e.g. rural, suburban, urban). • Are any areas more common than others for housing? • How much do the homes cost? • Describe both what the interior and exterior characteristics of these homes are like. • How do they compare to those of your own country? • What features do you like or dislike about them? • Finally, discuss where the residents go to shop for food and other necessities (e.g. downtown, shopping malls, farmer’s markets) and what these places are like? Do you feel there are any similarities and/or differences with respect to areas where you reside?
