I also agree that in media, people with disabilities are never characterized as appealing like the characters are, which seems discriminating. I also like how you perceived people with different disabilities and their appeal. I had a slightly differing opinion, but reading what you said made me rethink the topic, as I do believe that anybody with some form of disability is "marked" as special or different. I do agree that people misunderstand those with disabilities and how they actually feel as well though. I feel that I also was not informed about the matter as I would have liked to be prior to the assignment, but I had noticed the differences when I seen movies that represented them differently, having sexual desires like other people.
