DIRECTIONS: 5-7 page essay that includes the following (This page limit does not include your reference page): Section 1: Choose a focus to write about [pornography, prostitution, or human trafficking]. Discuss what you have learned based on the course readings and media shown in class on your chosen focus AND why it is important. Section 2: Research and report on one organization and one individual who is working to improve the lives of women and children in the sex industry (in your given area either pornography/prostitution/sex trafficking) that were not discussed in the course materials. You can report on more than one of each, but you must report on AT LEAST ONE OF EACH Section 3: This is the core of the assignment, and your chance to be creative. Discuss your own “new” ideas as to how society [any level; micro, meso, macro] can improve the lives of women and girls in the sex industry Create a plan of action to make a difference in women’s lives in the sex industry. Imagine that you have an unlimited budget/unlimited resources. You can create an organization/ an education campaign/ change policy/ etc.. Please include specific details as to what your plan would be and who would be involved. Please include at least two sources in this part of the assignment that support your ideas.
