5 page paper covering the 4 content areas which are, attachment theory, adult attachment, attachment repair, and addiction and attachment. Make sure to get 3 or 4 sources and make a works cited page and cover page. It needs to be in APA format and 12 point font. type (double space, 12 font) a 4-6 page paper exploring the topic of Attachment Theory, Relationships, and Intimacy as it pertains to the family life cycle. There are four content areas that need to be covered; these areas are listed at the end of this document. The paper will be completed in APA format. Include a Title Page, but no Abstract is required. The textbook is Marriages and Families: Intimacy, Diversity, and Strengths by David Olson if you happen to have access to it. The four areas to be researched and written about include: 1. Attachment Theory-Who developed it? What is it? What are the different types of attachment in very young children? How can secure attachment be facilitated in infancy? What areas of development are impacted by attachment? How can secure attachment by expressed in families throughout the family life cycle? What emotional benefits do children experience as a result of living in a securely attached family? 2. Adult Attachment-What are the three attachment styles displayed by adults? How are they expressed in relationships? How do they impact sexual intimacy? 3. Attachment Repair-How can adults, who did not experience secure attachment in childhood, or who just want to improve their relationships in general, facilitate healing in their own lives and relationships? Explore at least 3 ways to grow in this area. 4. addiction and attachment
