I feel the playlist is stronger in having the supporting tracks featuring all of the artists performing the song at some point in their career. It also serves as a means to compare how each performer's songwriting has impacted their version of the song.

In the end I bring it back to Mexico, featuring a very politically-inspired son jarocho tune by Lila Downs, and ending with a modern, politically-driven version of "La bamba" by Las Cafeteras.
