1. Review the 2 readings by Bill Moyers on The Progressive Movement. Do you agree with the views expressed by Moyers? If yes, why? If not, why not? 2. Express the main points and arguments of the author in your own words from reading about Renewing the challenge to power; Human Rights and Social Movement. Then, express your opinions about whether the article was a clear, thorough and useful explanation of the subject and give your reasons for your opinions. What questions do you have? This should be no more than 2 pages. 3. Continue working on your annotated bibliography and include two more additional scholarly resources (for a total of 5). Conduct research outside sources. (Black Lives Matter) 4.After reading the article “Does the Civil Rights Movement Model Still Work,” discuss if the model still works. If yes, why? If no, why not? Provide two reasons supported by the reading for your rationale. You do not need to include any other articles except this one. This essay should not exceed 3 pages in length. 5Discuss your thoughts on lessons learned regarding racial justice, where we currently are regarding racial justice, and your hopes for the future. 6. Research and identify an ethics statement that would be applicable for the development of a social movement. Discuss the critical elements of the statement and provide a rationale for why it should be included in a social movement. Conduct research using scholarly 7. After researching ethics statements and reading about the statements your classmates discussed, choose a statement to incorporate in your Social Movement/Social Change(Black Lives Matter) guided project. The ethics statement should not exceed 5-7 points.
